Starting in August 2021, Google is enforcing new API (Application Product Interface) requirements. Due to this new Google Play Store requirement, Android phones on version 10 and lower can no longer access the Mobile Banking application. This is a Google requirement and out of the bank's control.
Options for Android users:
Update or upgrade your mobile device to Android Version 11 or higher to continue using the Viking Bank mobile app after August 2021
If you are unable to update or upgrade customers can still access online banking through their internet browser by logging in directly from vikingbankmn.com
